Nicki Minaj

Onika Tanya Maraj was born on December 8 1982 and is a Trinidadian born American rapper. She was born in Saint James, but raised in Queens, New York. The rap star got well known because of her hit songs: “Super Bass” and “Starships”. At first Nicki Minaj wanted to be an actor. Her first mixtape dropped in 2007 titled “Playtime Is Over”. After a negotiation battle between a lot of different record labels she signed a record deal with Young Money Entertainment.

Lil Uzi Vert and Nicki Minaj dropped a remix of the song “The Way Life Goes” and it was a big hit. Nicki told that the two rappers are shooting a video for the song and she really thinks Lil Uzi is a cool guy.

On Instagram Nicki Minaj filmed herself on the set together with Lil Uzi Vert and told her watchers she was very high and that’s she has a lot of fun working with Lil Uzi. She said:”We feeling really good right now. We on the set of the video, it’s just a pleasure to work with him. He reminds me so much of Tunechi so everythime I see him, Im always like, ah my little baby, because he just gives me the Lil Tunechi vibes”. Lil Uzi Vert has made big steps in his career. His clips all have a lot of views.

On January 26 she released her song Run Up with Major Lazer and Partynextdoor. Her influences in making music are artist like: Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown and Jay-Z. Over the years she dropped 7 albums so far. With “The Pinkprint” being her last one. Nicki often stands out because of her costumes and sexy poses.
